Thanquol has a ward save of 4+. For every wound Thanquol saves, one friendly model within 6" (owning player's choice) takes a wound instead. Normal saves apply. If no friendly model is within 6" the wound fails to deflect anywhere and is ignored.

Blessing of the Horned Rat

Many troops in the Warhammer game have unique and  unusual abilities and skills. In the game, these abilities and skills are represented by special rules. Any creature may have one or more special rules and, unless otherwise mentioned, the effects from special rules are cumulative. The following list is by no means exhaustive, but it does detail the most common special rules (more can be found in the Warhammer Armies books).
