One character in the army must be nominated as the general, though Slayer characters cannot be a general in a normal Dwarf army. This must be a Daemonslayer if the army has one. This has very little effect in the game since Slayers are all the same Leadership, but sometimes it's just good to know who's in charge and the enemy will score additional VPs for killing this character).
